Your information.
Handled thoughtfully.

Newsletter signups

When you subscribe, we store your email address, signup source, subscription status, and the date and wording version of your consent in our database. We use this information to manage your subscription and prepare the WellChosen newsletter. Newsletter sending is not yet enabled.

Browsing and shopping

We count shopping-category selections and product-link clicks to understand which recommendations are useful. These events include the product or category, placement, and time. They are not linked to your email address, and we do not create a browsing profile or use advertising cookies. We honor browser Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals for this tracking.

For abuse prevention, we keep a hashed network identifier and request count. Our hosting infrastructure may also process IP addresses and technical logs to deliver and secure the site. Retailer images load from retailer servers, which receive the associated image requests.

Shopping links take you to independent retailers. Their privacy policies and purchase terms apply when you visit or buy from them.

Before newsletter delivery begins

We will publish a privacy contact, retention schedule, and subscription management options before sending the first newsletter. Your information is not sold through this site.
