THE DETAILS
The finishing touch does the work.
Sometimes the most useful addition is the one that connects the clothes you already own.

Think in combinations.
Before choosing an accessory, name three outfits you would wear it with. A bag or shoe that connects to your existing colors is often more useful than a beautiful piece that needs an entirely new outfit.
Mix the textures.
Smooth leather against a soft knit, or a small metal earring with a crisp shirt: contrast can add interest without adding much else. Keep the palette simple if you want the materials to stand out.
Check the practical details.
Consider bag weight, strap length, closures, and what actually needs to fit inside. For shoes, read the retailer’s fit guidance and return policy. Appearance is only part of what makes something worth wearing.
